Meet the Author & Illustrator:
- Dayanita Ramesh is an illustrator that lives in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of UC Davis and Johns Hopkins, and a former beltway insider. At Crooked Media she does internet stuff, that’s as specific as she’d like to be. When she’s not desperately begging people online to fulfill their civic duties, she’s illustrating, hugging her two senior rescue dogs or asking her husband what’s for dinner. Dayanita is most excited to borrow a new identity from the library.
- Sarah Lazarus is a comedy writer based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Vassar College, and has written for the New Yorker, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and NPR’s Ask Me Another. She currently writes Crooked’s What A Day newsletter. Sarah is most looking forward to eating a hot pretzel at the ballet.
